About
My practice interrogates how norms shape bodies, histories, and the possibility of wholeness. While studying Fashion Marketing at the University of Manchester from 2023 to 2026, I developed a critical attention to the ways women’s bodies are disciplined by commercial systems, social expectations, and everyday objects. Since 2026, I have been pursuing an MRes at the Royal College of Art, where my focus has shifted toward digital art, installation, and critical design. Working with 3D modeling, animation, and sound, I move from body politics toward questions of existence itself.
My portfolio unfolds as a speculative cycle in three parts. Entropy of Physical Restraint uses intimate apparel as a metaphor to critique the discipline imposed on the female body, realized through 3D modeling and Unreal Engine 5 animation. Metagarden: The Unwritten Archetype centers on the hermaphroditic Crown Imperial to ask what possibilities of life existed before gender norms. In this interactive installation, hair becomes a spiritual antenna and optical fibers replace the pistil; viewers co-create meaning through their gaze, acknowledging that we are both the products and the perpetual editors of the norms we inherit. Silent Order turns to the systems that claim to care for women’s well-being, constructing a metaphorical “black box” to reveal how that care becomes a logic of cost control.
Spanning fashion studies, social critique, and digital art, my practice translates theoretical inquiry into sensory and participatory experience. At the RCA, I continue to explore the entanglement of biology, technology, and gender in contemporary art.
